We want YOUR FILMS!

The Asian American Association Film Festival of UC Davis invites you to submit your short film to be screened in our film festival. If your short passes our initial screening phase, it will be entered into student film contest and showcased during the last day of the festival on May 16th, 2008. The contest will be judged by university faculty and staff from various departments such as Asian American Studies and Film Studies. The filmmaker of the best short films will be awarded a prize.

Requirements:
• Made mostly by UC Davis students
• Related to an Asian American issue and/or be made by an Asian American director and/or use of an Asian American cast
• Submitted in Mini DV format or DVD
• No more than seven minutes in length (five minutes is preferred)
• Each filmmaker may only submit one film. Enter your own film and possibly win a prize!

This application must be turned in with your entry. Entries are due at 4pm by April 25, 2008. Please submit entries to:
